2019 saw Tom racing in the European GT4 Championship, alongside teammate Fiona James in a Pro-Am pairing for the Academy Motorsport ran Aston Martin Vantage GT4.
Tom made his debut in European GT Racing this season, after a strong maiden season in British GT and two successful seasons in the Ginetta Junior Championship - where he was a race winner and consistent podium sitter.
2020 and 2021 saw Tom make the exciting step into racing with Factory prepared team equipment - joining the VLN and PurpleDot Walkenhorst Motorsport. Where he will took on the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife throughout the championship campaign.
Tom was one of the youngest drivers to ever compete in the championship, after a pair of seasons racing in GT4 where he regularly showed excellent potential.
In 2022, Tom claimed multiple podiums and front rows in the ADAC GT4 series with the Racing One team. Tom aims to build on this successful year in 2023, and ultimately win the ADAC GT4 series.
Tom has signed for the FK Performance BMW team for the 2023 season. The former DTM Trophy champions will be running the all new M4 GT4 with Tom and teammate Moh Ritson.
The Pershore-based squad won the category’s teams’ title in 2015 but only contested one round last season. Now Academy are back with a dual programme that sees its Aston Martin racing in British GT and the GT4 European Series Northern Cup.
Tom has joined the team following his successful 2017 Ginetta Junior Championship campaign.
He will be teamed with Jan Jonck, who will share driving duties for Academy Motorsport as he switches teams.The 19-year-old comes with prior knowledge of the car though having taken the win at Brands Hatch last year.
