Donington Park, 6 April 2025 – Tom launched his 2025 British GT Championship campaign in spectacular fashion, securing a commanding win in the Silver-Am class and finishing 7th overall in a highly competitive race at Donington Park.
The weekend got off to a promising start with a strong qualifying performance on Saturday, setting the tone for what would be an exciting race day. Confidence and speed were evident throughout, with every session providing valuable insights into the team's potential.
The opening hour conducted brilliantly by Andrew Howard, was navigated superbly avoiding incidents across the grid. After a measured stint, he passed the baton to teammate Tom Wood.
After a stellar pitstop from the Beechdean team, they were able to move up the field. Tom's performance was strong maintaining a consistent pace throughout his 1 hour stint. A lonely but hard fought stint meant his efforts culminated in a Silver-Am class victory and an impressive P7 finish overall, rewarding the team's relentless focus and flawless execution throughout the race.
